When Task Monkey helps you secure a refund from Amazon, the compensation you receive generally falls into one of the following three categories:

Refund to Original Payment Method
This is the most straightforward type of compensation. Amazon issues the refund directly back to your original payment method — usually your Visa, MasterCard, or other credit card.
The refunded amount typically appears in your bank account within 3 to 5 business days, depending on your bank’s processing time.
2.
Promotional Certificate or Promotional Credit
In some cases, Amazon may provide a Promotional Certificate (also called Promotional Credit). These credits do not appear in your visible account balance and won’t show up in your Amazon Payments or Gift Card sections.
Instead, they are automatically applied at checkout the next time you purchase an item that is Sold by Amazon.com and Ships from Amazon.com.

You can try adding a qualifying item to your cart and proceed to checkout — if eligible, you’ll see the credit automatically deducted. These are typically issued within one business day.
3.
Amazon Gift Card
Sometimes, Amazon may issue your compensation in the form of an Amazon Gift Card.
These are usually visible in your gift card balance section within your Amazon account and can be used freely for most purchases on Amazon
